I am looking for Maples for Shady areas

Most maples in their native habitat are understory plants.    As long as there is filtered light maples will do fine.  You should realize, many of the red leafed maples will not develop the full deep red color if they do not get adequate sun exposure.  Usually 3 hours or more is needed to bring out the cultivar color.  If the sun is intense for the few hours then that may suffice for color formation.  

Here are some maples that tend to do well in low light areas:
