Hanami nishiki is considered to be one of the gems of the dwarf Japanese maple group. What sets it apart from most of the other Japanese maples is that it is among the smallest leaved forms. Light green leaves emerge in the Spring tinged with orange, eventually turning a pleasing green in Summer. Fall colors are yellow, orange to scarlet reds.
