Acer sieboldianum Seki no kegon is a beautiful Japanese maple adapted to colder climates. Seki no kegon is a small tree to about 10 feet with a pendulous or weeping habit. The leaves are a pleasant green in summer and become blazing yellow - orange to red, through the fall. A very graceful maple that is a GREAT Japanese maple for the colder climates. (does fine in warmer climates too). Typically good for zone 4.
