Ever Red (aka Dissectum Nigrum) is a Japanese maple lace leaf that exhibits fascinating change throughout the seasons. In spring, Ever Red has new shoots and foliage that emerge with fine hairs (pubescence) which makes the plant appear silvery or white. Very Cool. After a few weeks the silver color fades and the leaves attain a deep red. The leaves of Ever Red also tend to have a light green to yellow center vein which also adds a unique character to this lace leaf cultivar. Will reach 8' in 12 years. Fall color is bright crimson. Sun/part shade.
